How to Use

Work up a lather with warm water on the face, hands or body, then rinse. Keep it out of the eyes; if it gets in, rinse thoroughly with water.

Between uses, let it dry on a soap dish that drains rather than in a puddle - a bar left sitting in water goes soft and wears away much faster.

What Is a Beauty Bar?

Dove calls it a beauty bar rather than soap, and the box says why: it is made to clean without drying the skin the way ordinary soap can. The first ingredient on the box is sodium lauroyl isethionate, a mild cleanser, rather than plain soap, and a share of the bar is moisturizing cream.
