    Karoun Plain Kefir is an unsweetened cultured whole milk made from Grade A milk and 10 live and active kefir cultures. It is tangy, lightly thick and drinkable straight from the bottle, with no added sugar. Made in California.

    How to Enjoy

    Shake well and pour a cold glass on its own, or blend into smoothies with fruit and honey. Use it in place of buttermilk for pancakes and marinades, or pour over granola and oats. Like ayran, it pairs well with savory dishes such as kebabs, rice and börek.

    About kefir

    Kefir is a fermented milk drink with roots in the Caucasus and Eastern Europe. Its mix of cultures gives it a sharper tang than yogurt and a natural light fizz. Because the cultures are live, the bottle may look slightly bloated, which is normal for kefir.
