How to Use
The pack suggests it for breakfast recipes, breads and cakes, and for crispy chicken and fish. For the Black Sea way of frying hamsi or other small fish, toss the fish in corn flour with a little salt, shake off the excess and fry in hot oil until golden.
For misir ekmegi, mix corn flour with yogurt, eggs, oil and baking powder and bake in a hot greased pan. Mihlama, the Black Sea cheese fondue, starts with corn flour toasted in butter before water and stretchy cheese go in.
